CAN YOU ARRANGE MY DESIGN PRINTING FOR ME, LIKE ON T-SHIRTS OR BUSINESS CARDS?
Yep. From promotional SWAG to wedding invites, just about anything I design for you can then be printed at Vistaprint where I receive a discounted rate. Visit their website for a full list of products, let me know what you'd like and how many, and I'll return with your quote. If you have a different printing service you'd like to work with, we can discuss this as well.
I'D LIKE TO HAVE A DESIGN CREATED. WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Designs are completed in three phases. First, we'll get together for a kickoff meeting where you can tell me all about your request. With this information, I'll draw up my proposal plus an estimate for you to review and discuss any changes before we sign the deal. Once you're happy, we move on to the next phase where I get to create the first draft of your design; these will be wireframes and a graphic mockup if you've requested a website. This will be then be presented for the first of our Review Sessions. Once you've approved your first draft, the final phase begins where I can complete your project, and return it for the remainder of our sessions. Once you've approved your design, I'll deliver your assets and/or websites will be published live to your URL.
WHAT IS A REVISION ROUND?
A Revision Round is the opportunity to look over your design at each stage of the process and communicate any changes you'd like made.
WHAT DESIGN PLATFORM DO YOU USE TO CREATE WEBSITES?
I prefer to use Wix.com's online HTML5 platform. From a simple blog or to a full e-commerce shopping experience, they have everything needed to create amazing websites. And they provide their own website and domain hosting, so all of your site's hosting services can be in one place.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY PROJECT?
Each project is different and can vary depending on the scope of your project - how long you may need to review each phase, will related assets like photos be provided, or do you need to have them created first, new add-ons to the original design, etc. While there are a lot of variables, we'll discuss an agreeable timeframe after we've gone over your project's details.
ARE DOMAIN REGISTRATION OR WEB HOSTING INCLUDED IN YOUR WEBSITE DESIGN PACKAGES?
Website Design Packages include the cost of designing your site only. If you don't have a registered domain already, or hosting for an existing site, these will need to be purchased separately from Wix.com. I can also set these up for you at a minimal cost.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PROJECT?
Small projects will be due in two 50/50 payemnts, while larger projects will be due in three 30/50/20 installments, all we complete the design process. For example, the first payment or deposit (30%) is due upon contract approval and to complete the first phase. A second payment (50%) is due upon first draft approval and to complete the second phase. The final payment (20%) is due after you've approved the final design + the cost of any additional services you've requested during the project.
WHAT IF I WANT TO ADD SOMETHING AFTER WORK HAS BEGUN?
Additions can be requested at any time during the project. Let me know and I'll confirm if it increases your original esitmate. Additions over $100 may require an additional payment before it can be included.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY PROJECT, CAN I GET A REFUND?
I won't require a first payment until you've approved your project estimate and confirmed you'd like to move forward. Cancellations after work has begun will only be refunded 50% of any amount paid so far, not including the deposit. This is to cover the amount of work and efforts already completed.
